He was predeceased by: his parents, Enos "Doc" and Elizabeth; and his grandson Michael Jason Huffman. He is survived by: his friend Vivian L. Dyer; his wife Vivian L. Rhodd; his children, Vesta Huffman (Mike), Thomas A. Rhodd (Carolyn Martin) and L. Michelle Oswald (Mike); and his grandchildren, Thomas M. Huffman, Michael R. Glendenning (Jesi), Max R. Glendenning (Billie), Melissa Huffman, Michael R Huffman and Corey R. Huffman. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
