He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Ellis and Ethel Ellis (Schreck); his stepfather Eugene Franks; his daughter Angela Ellis; his grandchild Baby Leslie; and his brothers, Donald Ellis, James "Jimmy" Ellis and Billy Ellis.
He is survived by: his father-in-law Eugene Franks; his wife Ruby Faye Tuttle; his daughters, Regina Boatright (Rusty Waymack), Denise Ellis and Jona Johnson (Cliff); his sisters, Patricia Walker and Faye Sanders (Kenneth); his friends, Billy Crabtree and Ron Wolhford; and his grandchildren, Summer, Hope, Heaven, Clifford, Joshua, Tristen, Brady, Blake, Shane and Brandon. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
