He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Eugene and Maryanne Lyon (Niemeier). He is survived by: his wife Madonna Bonney; his children, Emily Mary Lyon and John Eric Lyon (Seira); his grandchildren, Yoshito Simba Lyon and Shizuku Zoey Lyon; and his siblings, Rick Lyon (Tina) and Judy Bardell.
