She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Miranda and Mary Miranda (Ruiz). She is survived by: her husband Antonino "Tony" Vargas of Dewey, OK; her children, Ray (Mary Vargas), Michael and Kathy Vargas of Stillwater, OK; and her grandson Mike Vargas of Dewey, OK. She is also survived by 10 grandkids, 15 great grandkids.
She was actively involved in the Al-Anon program including her contribution to establishing an Al-Anon program in Dewey where she provided resources on how to help families of alcoholics.
