It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Smith (Dewey, Oklahoma), born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 23, 2019, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. Smith and Patsy J. Smith (Sires); and his brother Tarry Smith. He is survived by: his former spouses, Lisa Brunnemer and Thresa Hightower; his wife Julie Hansen; his children, Shandi and Josh; his sisters, Penney Anderson (John) of Bartlesville and Bobette Wells of Owasso; his children, Joshua Smith of Lindale, TX, Shandea Baublit (Jeremy) of Lindale, TX, Casey Smith of Tyler, TX and Lacey Smith of Lindale, TX; and his cousin Leon Smith of Bartlesville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Dusty's family is requesting that donations be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project which was something close to Dusty's heart.
