He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ernest Bell and Margaritte Bell (Gage); his wife Linda Faye Tolbert; his daughter Jennifer Dawn Campbell; and his siblings, Deanie Stralie, Burthel Wilson, Luella Bell, Sue Bell, Betty Reeves and Gerald Bell.
He is survived by: his children, James Ernest Bell Jr. (Denise) and Cheryl Ann Bishop; his stepchildren, John Brown (Missy) and Melissa Brown; and his siblings, Sharon K Wade (Mike), Robert Bell and Tom Bell. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
