He was predeceased by: his parents, John Parrish and Willie Parrish (Kesterson); his grandson Nathan Jackson; and his siblings, Donald Parrish, Doyle Parrish and Margarite Clayton.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Patricia Hollenbeck of Bartlesville, Belinda Ellsworth (Larry) of Eolia and Jim Parrish (Sarah) of Barnsdall; his grandchildren, Ardie Ellsworth of Bowling Green, Jesse Ellsworth of Warrenton, David Jackson (Jessica) of Andover and Stephanie Holden (Larry) of Pawhuska; and his brother Thomas Parrish (Sammye). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
