He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Henry and Mary Helen Brashears (Farney); his siblings, Bill Brashears and Helen Brashears; his nephew Aaron Brashears; and his son-in-law Frank Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Marie Niccum; his children, Carol Davis of Dewey, James Brashears of Bartlesville, John Brashears (Kelly) of Dewey and Treva Roux (John) of Oklahoma City; his siblings, Leroy Brashears of Broken Arrow and Connie Richardson of Tulsa; his grandchildren, Gene Tucker (Theresa), Jaime Morrison (Justin), Jennifer Tayrien, Amy Soto (Will), Tyler Brashears (Jamie), Ashley Hodges (Clint), Brittany Holt (Jacoty) and Dustin Brashears; and his stepgranddaughter Amanda Tucker. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and one on the way; 4 step great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to Bluestem Baptist Church in Dewey.
