He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Lee and Ethel Marie Nichols (Smith); and his sister Denise Williams. He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his sons, David Nichols Jr. (Melyn) of Dewey and Adam Nichols (Amanda) of Dewey; his siblings, Elzie Nichols Jr. (Marsha) of Lone Grove, Peggy Lowery of Tulsa and Ronnie Nichols (Annette) of Ada, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Chris Williams, Lacey Nichols and Bailey Nichols. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggested memorial donations to Friends of the Dewey Park Association, 315 E. Don Tyler, Dewey, OK 74029.
