He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Sonny" Augustus Smith and Neva Mae Smith (French); his son Kennith Eugene Smith; and his brother David Smith. He is survived by: his wife Ethel May Sturgeon; his son Michael Smith; his grandchildren, Dalton, Christopher, Kaden and Maegan Smith; his siblings, Norman (Neva Smith), Wade (Donna Smith), Wayne (Nancy Smith), Tim (Lori Smith) and Bobbi (Charlie Riggs); and his sister-in-law Pam Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
