It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean Bowman of Dewey, Oklahoma, born in Bakersfield, California, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray R. Brown and Lou Brown (Ball); her children, Chad, George Bowman and Tammie Bowman; and her brother Jimmy Brown.

She is survived by: her son Ace Bowman (Teresa); and her grandchildren, Brandon Bowman (Carrie), Tyler Bowman (Meghin), Chad Bowman and Marrisa Bowman. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
