It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Watkins of Dewey, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Oliver and Daisy Myrtle Long Sprague (Blevins); her husband Bill; her son Jimmy; her sons-in-law, Bill May, Garland Young, David Miller and Jim Carr; her grandchildren, Jeff Ellington and Jamey Watkins; her granddaughter-in-law Crystal Young; and her great grandchildren, Daniel Schaffer IV, Sara Marsh, Aaron Nicholas and Audrey Allford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Daisy Dupas (Augustine Jr.), Billie Pierce, Bonnie May, Wilma Young (Fred Johnson), Carolyn Owens and Marie Miller; her daughter-in-law April Watkins; her brothers, Phillip and Ted Sprague; and her grandchildren, Tammy Webster, Chet Burrows, Angie Burrows, Rachelle Caswell, Chanda Swalley, Kim Camacho, Shane Young, Samuel Young, Andrew Young, Amos Young, Christy Green, Jana Standlea, James Owens Jr., Amanda Bearden and Bryan Miller. She is also survived by 40 great-grandchildren and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
