She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel Rhodd and Iva LittlestandingBuffalo Rhodd (Littlestandingbuffalo); her husband Joe Akers; her son Floyd "Dean" Akers; her grandson Jeremy Akers; her siblings, Carlton Rhodd, Vernon Rhodd, Pete Rhodd, Penny Rhodd, Lemuel Rhodd and Cecilia Howard; and her daughter-in-law Janetta Simpson Akers.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Robertson (David) of Delaware, OK and Steven Akers of Nowata, OK; her siblings, Douglas Rhodd of Ponca City, OK, Sharon Dawson of Ponca City, OK, Hank Rhodd of Ponca City, OK and Benjamin Zaitshix of Ponca City, OK; and her aunt Esteline Warrior. She is also survived by her family and her friends.
