She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Creason and Opal Pauline Wilson; and her brother David Franklin Creason. She is survived by: her husband C. Dean Sparkman; her sisters, Sandi Pauline Rosamond (Freedus) and Judy Peterson; her children, Michael Scott Rogers (Kelly), William Jay Rogers (Tiffany Tuggle-Rogers), John Kirby Johnson and Sherrie Jean Johnson; and her stepdaughters, Deana Butcher (Samuel), Alicia Sparkman (Cary Saylor), Cheryl Kitchens (TJ) and Christina Sparkman (Tim Ventura).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, The American Lung Association and Sunny Lane United Methodist Church.
