He was predeceased by: his parents, L. H. "Buddy" Winans and Mary Virginia Turner. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; and his sister Pamela Goodwin of Ecuador. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
