He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Tharp and Beatrice Tharp; his in-laws, Joe and Zula Long; and his nephew Darren Tharp.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Tharp of Del City; his children, Joey Tharp (Laschele) of Edmond and Jennifer Dreiske (Sean) of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Austen Dreiske, Shae Newton (Myles), Mackenzie Tharp, Kaitlin Dreiske, Brent Tharp and Dillon Tharp; and his great grandchildren, MJ and Mya Newton.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home (5005 SE 29th St, Del City, OK 73115). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sunny Lane Southern Baptist Church (4500 SE 31st St, Oklahoma City, OK 73115). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunny Lane Cemetery (4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK 73115).
