Bobette Louise Stone passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on February 28, 2024. She was born May 24th 1953 to Martha Leon and Paul Ellison Faires at Saint Anthony hospital in Oklahoma City OK.
She was born again October 1980 in the dirt parking lot of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Jacksonville Florida. Her name was forever written in The Lambs Book of Life as she heeded the call of her Savior and God Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
She is survived by her husband Joshua (Gene) Stone who she wed on the 20th of March 1972. Her surviving children Amelia Stone, Sarah Stone, Rebecca and her husband Blake Roberts, Joshua and his wife Kara Stone. Grandchildren Nathan and Katelyn Johnson, Garrett Eddy, twinados Alexander and Heidi Roberts, Skylar Stone and baby girl or boy Stone due in June 2024. She was also a loving grandmother to Dominick Johnson and Kearsten Gaskill. She was the oldest of 7 children, sister to Joy, Pam, Charlene, Rodney and Johnny. Also to her brother Leon who predeceased her. Her many lifelong friends who were also her brothers and sisters at Open Door Baptist Church.
A visitation for Bobette will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A burial will occur Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK 73115.
