It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Buxton of Deer Creek, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marvin Buxton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Buxton and Olive Buxton; his brothers, Herschel and Norman; and his sons, Jerome and Jimmy.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Buxton of Deer Creek; his children, Forrest Buxton (Delores) of Edmond, Ramona Buxton of Enid, Charlene Brensing (Richard) of Mullinville and JoAnn Buxton of Enid; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Buxton Gingerish of Newton, Kansas. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Gene's name to Deer Creek Fire Department through the funeral home.
