He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Fletcher Thomas and Weetia Lois Thomas (Scivally); his wife Paula; his sons, James "Chubby" Bryant and Joe "Bubby" Bryant; his granddaughter Khristi Bryant; his sister Lavell Morris; his daughter-in-law Sandy Bryant; his siblings-in-law, Bobby Joe Tompkins and Helen Tompkins; and his brother Richard Peery.
He is survived by: his children, Clayton Thomas (Darla), Treva Cheek (Hal) and Jalynn Landeros (Phillip); his girlfriend Mary Digby; his family Denise Young; his daughter-in-law Sue Bryant; and his grandchildren, Angie Jenkins, Kelly Bryant, Candice Bryant, Shelly Bryant-Gideon, Genevieve Bryant, Nathan Thomas, Alice Thomas, Colt Cheek, Blake Young, Jaime Landeros, Briana Landeros Gage Brown, Ashton Lamb and Brooke Meekin. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
