We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2024, at the age of 87, Martha Lou Dean McCormick (Davis, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Martha Lou Dean's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Martha Lou Dean has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgie Poteet and Lota Poteet Tyler (Wood); and her grandparents, Thomas and Sarah Wood. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Caskey (Joe Bill) of Tishomingo and Donna Sartin (Ralph) of Stillwater; and her brother Gene Poteet (Juanita) of Amarillo, Texas.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great-grand child.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Green Hill Cemetery.
