He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claud Simmons and Doris 'Toots Simmons of Elmore City, Oklahoma.; his siblings, Claudine Curtis of Elmore City and Joe Simmons of Shawnee, Oklahoma.; his wife Mildred Elaine Simmons; his sons, James Evan Simmons of Flower Mound, Texas, John Mark Simmons of Henderson, Nevada and Jeremy Lane Simmons of Leesburg, Virginia.; and his grandsons, Jacob and Nicholas Simmons.
