He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Garza and Adela Garza (Alvarez); his son Roy Garza; and his siblings, Josie Edwards and Carlos Garza.
He is survived by: his wife Stella Garza; his children, Ruben Garza, Jr. and Gabriella Miller (Michael) of Davidson, Oklahoma; his siblings, Jimmy Garza of Durant, Albert Garza (Judy) of Davidson, Steve Garza of Fort Worth, Ray Garza (Donna) of Lawton, Joe Garza (Kathy) of Frederick, Oklahoma, Martha Garcia of Frederick, Mary Flores (Danny) of Frederick, Oklahoma and Rosa Morales of Vernon, Texas; his grandchildren, Amber Boyd (Kelby), Michael Minor (Kaycee), Shane Minor (Sarah) and Landon Vaughn; and his great grandchildren, Elexia Townson, Toby Boyd, Austin Minor, Aurora Minor, Daphnie Sosa, Matthew Sosa, Leah Minor and Cameron Minor. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, mask and social distancing are suggested at the church and graveside services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Davidson Cemetery Association, or the First Baptist Church of Davidson in memory of Ruben Garza.
