He is survived by: his wife Freda Bales (Collins); his children, Gene Bales (Cristy) of Davenport, Dennis Bales (Sherry) of Davenport and Tamela Wunderlich (Keith) of Cambridge, KS; and his sister Margaret Hoover of Chandler. He is also survived by grandchildren; (5) great-grandchildren.
