She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Kenneth Vaughan; her parents, Charley Nathaniel Smith and Willie Mae Smith (Tomlinson); and her grandparents, George Travis Smith, Mary Catheryn Smith (Bushart), Nicholas Henry Tomlinson and Martha Jane Tomlinson (Waller).
She is survived by: her son Kenneth E.; and her brothers, Sylvester Smith (Clara Mae) and Clinton Smith (Vella Mae). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
