He was predeceased by: his parents, George Porter and Edna Porter (Preston); his daughter Janna Dell; and his brothers, Charlie Edward and Benard Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Lavery; his daughter Jill Nuckolls (Gary); his grandchildren, Foster and Griffin; his son Matt Porter (Michelle); his grandchildren, Jeremiah and Evelyn; his son Jay Porter (Elizabeth); his grandsons, Jack and Ethan; and his brother Larry Porter (Brenda) of Weatherford.
