He was predeceased by : his parents, James Edward and Lillie Lucille Vier; and his siblings, Donald, Ruth, Claudine, Kenneth, James, Vern, Nancy, Arvada and Ralph.

He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Kay Hiler; his sons, Robert of Columbus, Richard (Melanie) of Cushing, OK and Raymond (Shawna) of Missouri; and his siblings, Jack (Margie) of Colorado Springs and Ginger of Colorado. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
