He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Anderson and Vergie Anderson (Wright); his sons, Lonnie Jay and Shane Bruce Anderson; and his grandson Josh Anderson.

He is survived by : his wife Judy Daugherty; his son Steven Lynn Anderson; his grandchildren, Kaycee Stewart, Kotie Anderson, Christopher Anderson, Whitney Anderson, Cheyanne Anderson and Ribbin Dorado; and his great grandchildren, Emery Cunningham, Brandon Anderson, Valerie Cunningham, Darin Stewart, Bradley Jacobs, Brison Stewart, Kloie Stewart, Dalton Pope, Landon Pope, Legend Anderson and Ah'Nya Anderson. He is also survived by four great-great grandchildren.
