She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Elsie Black and William Black; her cousins, Lucille and Dawson Brown; her nephew Pete Sawatzky (Kathy); her niece Sue Burns (Jim); her birth parents, Elsie and William Black; her adoptive parents, Lucille Brown and Dawson Brown; her siblings, Charles, Linda Black and Lula Mae; her brother-in-law Pete Sawatzky; and her nephew Jim Sawatzky (late Jackie Zinkan).
