With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lon A Barkley of Cushing, Oklahoma, born in Russell, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lon left this world on June 9, 2024 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Barkley, and Durline Myrtle Barkley, Sr. (Spence); his stepfather Bob Barkley; his brother Paul Barkley; and his little buddy Roscoe.

He is survived by : his siblings, Jim Barkley (Linda) of South Hutchinson, Robert Barkley of Irving, TX, John Barkley (Connie) of South Hutchinson, Craig Barkley (Mary) of Hutchinson, Wendy Drake (Hoss) of Hutchinson and David Barkley (Teresa) of Guam. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ethel Reece Cemetery (88 Co Rd 2400, Barnsdall, OK 74002).
