He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; his grandson Hunter Lewis Fittje; his parents, Herman Fittje and Emilie Fittje; his siblings, Milton, Roy, Virgil, Delores Bokelman, Lounetta Fittje, Fern Motsigner and Jeanette Smith; and his son-in-law Scott Hrubsky.
He is survived by: his children, Renae, Troy Fittje Cushing, Rhonda (Bond), Tyrone (Linda) and Trent Fittje Cushing (Tammy); his grandchildren, Ty (Ashley), Erika, Emilie, Corinna, Diana, Teague, William and Tagun Fittje; his great grandchildren, Lliam, Noah-Lane and Adley-Mae; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Oakley and Dale Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Casper Area Education Foundation and will be directed to the Hunter Lewis Fittje Memorial Scholarship fund.
