It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Louis Spire Sr. (Cushing, Oklahoma), born in Kansas, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 4, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Spire and Margaret Spire (Johnson); and his children, Christy Spire-Neal and John L Spire, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Emma Lou Perkins; his son Doug Spire (Becky) of Cushing; his grandsons, Isaac Spire of Cushing and Abel Spire (TeeKayy) of Cushing; and his great grandchildren, Kirk, Ida, Sabel and Sawyer. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Matherly-Davis Funeral Home (402 E Broadway St, Cushing, OK 74023). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (220 N B St, Yale, OK 74085).

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations be made to Yale Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of your choice.
