He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Roe and Vivian Boles Roe; his sisters, Cindy and Erma; and his granddaughter Ashley Roe.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Girk; his children, Dennis Roe (Cindy), Sherrie Bean (Jerry Don), Cindy Roe and Kelly Roe (Leslie); and his grandchildren, Tara Webb Whitley (Zach), Nicholas Wotipka (Amy), Jason Wotipka, Jerod Bean Ashley (Susan), Dyllon Roe (Jessica), Kyle Brown, Keeley Roe, Waylon Roe and Wyatt Roe. He is also survived by 2 sisters in law, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
