It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Matthews of Cushing, Oklahoma, born in Tryon, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Brixey and Pearl Brixey (Walters); and her husband Jack Matthews. She is survived by: her children, Debbie (Cliff Biby) of Nash, OK and Dr. Sam (Kathy Matthews) of Shawnee, OK; her grandchildren, Daniel (Yasha Matthews) of Shawnee, Nathan Matthews of Shawnee, Stony (Michelle Biby) of Tulsa and Cody (Melissa Biby) of Blackwell; and her great grandchildren, Kalen Matthews, Ashlyn Matthews, Lani Matthews, Maci Matthews, Bailee (Sam Palmer), Malachi Biby, Rylee Biby, Benaiah Biby and Robert Harold Brixey (Sharon) of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
