He was predeceased by: his parents, William Asa Smith and Pearl Vivian Ferguson Smith; and his siblings, Nova Smith, Wayne Smith, Alvin Smith, Hershel Smith, Mary Peterson and Virgie Lyle.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Delise Hester (Michael) of Sand Springs, OK and Michael Jay Smith (Anita) of Sand Springs, OK.; his wife Nadyne Smith; his grandchildren, Jordan Mosburg (David) of Clinton, OK, Makenzie Burrow (Zach) of Bixby, OK, Matthew Jay Smith of Oklahoma City, OK and Zachary Smith (Mary) of Oklahoma City, OK; and his great grandchildren, Maysen Mosburg, Baker Jay Burrow and Marlowe Mosburg. He is also survived by many other family members and dear friends.
