He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Adele Slade and Mary Lou Slade (Adams); and his brother-in-law Irling Smith. He is survived by : his wife Jalene; his sisters, Kathryn Smith of Lampasas, TX and Margaret Slade of Sands Springs, OK.; his sister-in-law Kathy Gosnell (Hurshell, Jr.); his nieces, Apryl Harden (Wes) and Megan Gosnell (Kimberly Frye); his great-niece Hannah Harden; and his great-nephews, Dylan Harden, Dexter Layne and Jackson Layne.
