He was predeceased by: his siblings, Floyd, Alvin, Leroy, Lehman, Wilmar, Olen, Wallace, Ruby, Violet, Florence, Celia Mae and Lorene; and his close friends, Bill and Mae Gaskins.
He is survived by: his parents, James Lewis and Bessie Gaither (Kelly); his children, Sandy (Russell Longbrake) and Sam (Angel Gaither); his children-in-law, Russell and Angel; his wife Linda (Fiel); his grandchildren, Taylor, Dillon Longbrake, Berkeley and Austin Gaither; his sisters-in-law, Elma Gaither and Darlene Gaither; and his friends, Norma Smith, Mike, Misty Clift, Johnny and Imogene O'Rourke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
