He was predeceased by : his parents, Doris Riedel (May) and Gilbert Riedel Sr.; his sister Beverly; his siblings-in-law, Audrey and Robert; and his grandsons, Dariel and Austin.

He is survived by : his wife Lindsay Riedel; his children, William Dale Horton (Michelle), Amy Lynn Westbrook (David), Shannon Michelle McMasters (Dave) and Stephanie Ann Blatchford; his grandchildren, Thomas, Ashlynn, Garrett of Whitney, TJ, Logan, Mason, Natalee, Christian, Nathan, Kaylin of Preston, PJ, Andolynn and Kelcie; his great grandchildren, Bently, Risely, Jayde and Wade; and his siblings, Judy, Tina, Darlene, Robin and Robert. He is also survived by numerous friends; extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gilbert's name to the Youth building fund at River of Life Christian Center, 521 East Broadway Street, Drumright, OK 74030.
