He was predeceased by: his parents, Everet Leroy and Dona Myrtle Herring (Moore); and his siblings, Joe and Jewel Greenfield. He is survived by: his siblings, Artie, Glenda and Junior (Joe); his former wife Margaret Nicholas; his son Edward Lindon Herring; his spouse Allegra "Allie" Carr; his siblings-in-law, Virgil Greenfield, Nick Carr, Marion Carr, Darrell Carr, George Redus, Lewis "Clair" Curry, Patty Herring, Allene Redus, Helen Hane, Marolyn Marple, Chlorene Thompson, Geri Carr and Ruby Carr; his sons, Lin Herring (Darlene) and Henry Herring (Shannon); his grandchildren, Dee Herring (Todd), Joe Herring (Keri), Natallie Herring and Brecken Herring; his great grandchild Colton Herring (Jordan); and his great great grandchild Walker Herring. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews and relatives.
