She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles William Akins and Inda Mae McKinney; her husband Tom Tarver; her son Leland Salas; and her siblings, Alyene Lucas, Maxine Coyner and Charles Akins.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Replogle (Janet) and Cheresa Salas Eddington; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Baez, John Replogle and Tim Eddington.
