It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Gene Combs (Cushing, Oklahoma), who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Donald Gene departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Donald Gene. Though Donald Gene may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father Norman Combs; his sister Norma G. Walters; and his brother-in-law Bill Acklin. He is survived by: his mother LaDara Combs (Moss); his wife Terri A. Combs; his siblings, Larry (Judy), Mike and Sherry Acklin; and his brother-in-law Jackie Walters. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and many close friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Matherly-Davis Funeral Home (402 E Broadway St, Cushing, OK 74023).
