With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Sue Annis in Cushing, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Vickers and Mary Lois Vickers (Messer); and her brother Boyd Lee Vickers. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Annis; her children, Kristin Nowakowski (Ben) of Shawnee, Kent Annis (Kathy) of Guthrie and Kemberlee Annis of Oklahoma City; her grandsons, Hayden Nowakowski of Shawnee, Holden Nowakowski of Shawnee and Justin Annis (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Grayson, Easton of Cushing and Jennifer Neal (Nick); her nephew Eric Vickers of Norman; her niece Heather Gallardo; her great-niece Nora Gallardo; her great-nephew Boyd Gallardo; her sister-in-law Cindy Manning (Joe) of Cushing; her caregiver Fallon Wilkerson; and also, Taelyn and Tripp of Sand Springs.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Service - Stroud (504 N 8th Ave, Stroud, OK 74079). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stroud Christian Church (723 W 9th St, Stroud, OK 74079).
Her love was shown in many forms; it could have been a lunch date, delivering meals during an illness or death, or simply donating pet food.
