He was predeceased by : his parents, Bob Vassar and Della Vassar (Stowers); and his siblings, Betty Cooper and Bobby Vassar. He is survived by : his children, Nichelle Whidby (Skeeter) of Yale, Derek Vassar (Christina) of Spartanburg and Laura Morgan (Shane) of Cushing; his siblings, Ben Vassar and Kathy Vassar; his grandchildren, Haleigh Lann, Jennifer Cude, Justin Morgan, Lexi Vassar, Matthew Cude and Jade Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Mason Lann, Weston Holmes and Luke Tyler Morgan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
