With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou Whalen of Cushing, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 25, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl R. Gibble and Audrey Gibble (Johnson); her former husband Dennis W. Gaunt; and her siblings, Earlene G. Lewis and Eldon Gibble.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil C. Whalen; her children, Jeffery W. Gaunt (Linda), Clifford E. Gaunt (Linda), Mimme L. Childs (Gaunt) and Earl Brady Gaunt; and her grandchildren, Dennis Gaunt (Tracy), Nick Gaunt (Charlotte), Scott Hammer, Aaron Gaunt, Renee Ferguson (Royce), Dexter Childs (Jessica), Ryan Taylor Gaunt and Courtney Turner. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
