He was predeceased by: his parents, Logan Yount and Kathryn Yount (Brannon). He is survived by: his wife Wanda Yount; his children, Sherry Lay (Mark), Keith Yount and Cynthia Crouch (Gary); his grandchildren, Tara Lay Horton, Matt, Cooper Lay and Nikki Crouch; his great grandchildren, Reid, Libby, Haskell and Amelia; and his brothers, Dale Yount and Terry Yount.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis.
