He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel Patience Simpson and Clara Maxine "Pat" Slusher Simpson; and his brother James "Jim" Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Tarrant Myers Simpson; his children, Ron Simpson (Linda), Chris Simpson, Brenda Myers Thompson (James "Jim" Shannon) and John Myers (Gerel); and his grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Brennan Simpson, Garrison Sullivan and Sienna Myers. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
