He is survived by: his children, Billy D. Thompson and Karen J. Thompson; his sisters, Irene and Joanne; his stepchildren, Cyndi Ivins, Melanie Montgomery and Tim Jones; his grandchildren, Matthew Thompson, Toby Thompson, Eric Ware, Kendall Ware, John Thompson, Maria Thompson and Billy Burk; his great grandchildren, Maddie, Max Thompson, Taylor Thompson and Delaney Ware; and his great great grandchild Cason Comer. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
