He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Long and Alice Long (Ellison); and his son Ricky. He is survived by: his wife Doris Reser; his sons, David (Louise), Carl and Terry; and his sister Ruth Williams. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home (117 E Noble Ave, Guthrie, OK 73044). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Clarkson Cemetery (9800 S Vassar Rd, Coyle, OK 73027).
