It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ruth Mattingly of Coyle, Oklahoma, born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 13, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cecil Roy Downey and Velma Olive Priess Renfro; her husband James Mattingly; her grandsons, Matthew Gowens, Michael Mattingly and Josh Mattingly; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Rosalie and Karston Hunter Mattingly of Florida; her nieces and nephews, Richard Junior Downey, Christopher Eric Downey, Toni Elaine Travis, Andrea Travis and Charles Cecil Downey; her son Cecil Thomas (CT); and her siblings, Richard Andrew Downey, Rose Ann Downey Owen, Mary Cecilia Downey, Dolly Mae Downey Travis and Thomas Cecil Downey.
The family has asked, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dorothy's church, in her honor.
