He was predeceased by: his parents, Oda Lavelle (Foster) and Virgil Leon Hewitt; his brother Fred Hewitt; and his grandchildren, Christopher Hewitt and Jaclyn Limon.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Hewitt (Greene); his children, Tammie Neal (Tony) of Fayetteville, AR, Terry and Toby Hewitt of Coweta, OK.; his grandchildren, Justin Limon (Jennifer) of Centennial, CO, Lauren Leonhard (Nate) of Wisconsin, Taryn Starkey (Brandon) of Tulsa, OK, Sarah Obiero (Fred) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Spencer Hewitt (Katherine) of Claremore, OK.; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Massey, Bradie Starkey, Norah Leonhard, Foster Starkey, Liam Hewitt, Lena Starkey and Jack Limon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
