It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Alvin Harper Jr. of Coweta, Oklahoma, born in Duenweg, Missouri, who passed away on May 27, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Alvin and Lillian Zelma Harper (Seamons); his wife Jessie Harper; and his sisters, Imogene "Jean" Davis, Mary Fultz and Carol Henderson.
He is survived by: his fiancé Jacquie Patterson; his children, Roy Alvin Harper, III of Texas, James Floyd Harper of Virginia and Susan Montague of California; and his stepsons, James Ray and Gary Blackstock. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
